Our mission is to guide each young artist to discover what makes them unique and express themselves freely through song, dance, and dramatic arts.
Welcome to Skyline Arts, the premier Performing Arts school in Jersey City for young children and teens. Our professionally trained and dedicated instructors provide a supportive and safe environment where students can develop their performance skills and self confidence. We believe the skills learned through Musical Theatre are invaluable and applicable to many facets of life, whether or not you choose to pursue performing professionally. Our inclusive program is a wonderful setting to build a strong sense of community and lasting connections.

Meet The Team
Nadia Vynnytsky - Co-Founder | Artistic Director | Director/Choreographer
​​Nadia Vynnytsky (she/her) is a multi-faceted performer and teaching artist. She has been residing in Jersey City since 2010. Upon receiving her BFA in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University, she has performed all over the world with several Broadway National and International Tours.
Broadway National Tours: Bring It On! The Musical (Starring as Campbell), Legally Blonde (Serena), SHREK (u/s Teen Fiona), and the First National Tour of Catch Me If You Can (u/s Brenda). Some Regional Credits Include: Fiddler on the Roof (Hodel), Rocky Horror Picture Show (Starring Will Swenson), and Newsies! (Katherine Plumber) at Pioneer Theatre Company.

She has worked alongside & created lasting connections with Tony-Award winning Creative Directors/Choreographers such as Andy Blankenbuehler (In The Heights, Bandstand, Hamilton), Alex Lacamoire (composer: Original Wicked Orchestrations/Music Supervisor, Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton), Marc Bruni (Beautiful, The Great Gatsby), and Chris Bailey (Back to the Future) to name a few.
Nadia has been teaching children of all ages for the past decade+ in several capacities. Some experiences include: The Stage School in Brooklyn, Choreographer at JWMS in Princeton, NJ (five Productions). LUX/Jersey City Productions include 13!, EMMA! A POP MUSICAL, BE MORE CHILL, MEAN GIRLS, NEWSIES, FOOTLOOSE , HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL JR.​, BYE BYE BIRDIE.

Cory Seminowicz - Co-Founder | Producer | Managing Director
Cory Seminowicz (she/her) recognizes the power of art as a tool, to not only express oneself, but as a gateway for effective learning. In her post-secondary education, she had a unique dual major, graduating with degrees in Education and Theatre Arts (Acting | Voice| Directing | Stage Mgmt. | Costume | Set | Lighting).
While Cory’s career has been primarily business-focused, her passion for the intersection of arts and education lives through her work with various youth theater organizations and schools. Cory's early affection for the Performing Arts led to years of Musical Theatre training. Some highlights include Miss Adelaide (Guys and Dolls), Roxie Hart (Chicago), and Frenchy (Grease), in addition to a variety of dramatic movement pieces and Shakespearean plays. In recent years, Cory has continued her training in voice and performance and has co-produced multiple Cabaret shows in New York City.

Cory spends much of her time with Skyline Arts creating a bridge between the program and our Skyline families through communication. In addition, she collaborates closely with our directors to visualize and curate our costume and prop design for the Broadway Company shows. Cory is over the moon to be working with her partners, Nadia and Teresa, realizing the dream of creating a space for our local kids and teens to shine!
Teresa Origenes - Co-Founder | Producer | Finance Director
Teresa Origenes is excited to partner with Nadia and Cory, as Co-Founder, Producer & Head of Finance. A lifelong resident of Jersey City, Teresa loves to volunteer, support local businesses, and give back to the JC community. She is an avid theatre attendee and encourages everyone to sign up for ticket lotteries to see shows for free or discounted tickets prices. Teresa is also a sci-fi fanatic so don’t be surprised if she quotes Star Wars, Star Trek, or Doctor Who!
In addition to managing our operating needs and budget, Teresa can often be found greeting our families with a smile or taking great care of special details for our cast, families and shows that always add that special ‘sparkle’ to the experiences at Skyline Arts. She is excited about co-producing this semester’s Broadway Company shows with Cory and Nadia for our Jersey City community.
Teachers
Briana Fogleman - Junior Co. Director
Briana Fogleman (she/her) is thrilled to be directing with Skyline Arts! Briana is an NYC based actor, singer, voiceover artist and vocal coach. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre from Oakland University, and has been working as a teaching artist for the past several years across NYC and NJ. She has worked with all ages across her many years of experience with children, both in artistic and educational settings.
Her favorite past performances include roles in Treasure Island (National Tour), Iphigenia (International Tour), Les Miserables, Into the Woods, and Under Milk Wood.
Massive thanks to Nadia, Teresa, Cory, and all of the kids for entrusting me with this project!
Hannah Balagot - Assistant Director/Choreographer
Hannah Balagot (she/her) is a performer and educator based in JC. She graduated from UC Irvine with a BFA in Music Theatre, Honors in Acting with a minor in Education. She was a Teaching Artist for the National Asian Artists Project and PS 124 for 3.5 school years during which her students went to the Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta and performed a pilot of the new Disney's Frozen Kids. She is also part of the Education Department for Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Favorite performing credits include: Summer Stock (Goodspeed Operahouse) Hello, Dolly! (Pioneer Theater Company), How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Grand Ole Opry), Anything Goes! (Moonlight Theater), and many iterations of West Side Story including a World Tour. She also was an Associate Choreographer off-Broadway for Prospect Theater's Notes From Now and for the National Asian Artist Project's Cinderella.
She is very excited to be a part of the Skyline Team and can't wait to see what we create together!
Macy Robinson - Assistant Director/Stage Manager
​Macy Robinson (she/her) is a driven actor who strives to bring intelligence, empathy, and excitement into everything she does. She is NYC-based and has a BFA in Musical Theatre from The University of Montevallo. Recently she may have been seen as Nellie Forbush in South Pacific at Interlakes Summer Theatre or in Forestburgh Playhouse's In the Works in the Woods Festival, among other things. She can also regularly be seen singing with Anthony Fett in the West Village (upcoming performances usually listed on Instagram). Macy is detailed in her story-telling and strives to deliver a natural and captivating performance every time she steps onstage. She prioritizes strong work ethic and kindness in rehearsals. She is also passionate about working with young actors. She has often worked in childcare and loves learning about early childhood development, as well as advocacy for young artists. She is your real life Maria Von Trapp. If you are working with her, she can always be counted on for comfort, joy, and a home cooked meal. Wherever she goes laughter and good conversation are sure to be found.
James Jackson, Jr.
Obie Award-winner for his work in the Pulitzer Prize and TONY Award-winning musical
A Strange Loop, most recently seen Off-Broadway in White Girl in Danger (Second
Stage/The Vineyard Theatre). Jackson’s cabaret work has been seen at Joe’s Pub,
DROM, Duane Park, 54 Below, and The Green Room 42 with hit shows Shady Sings
The Blues, I Just Wanted To Wear This, and The Black-Ups (with co-creators LaDonna
Burns & Elliot Roth). Recent sold out Juneteenth performances in Provincetown,
Massachusetts, where he’s regularly on stage at The Provincetown Theatre, Post Office
Cabaret, The Wilde, The Mary Heaton Vorse House, and Tin Pan Alley. Co-host of the
Broadway-themed podcast 5 Questions with James and JAM with TONY nominee,
John-Andrew Morrison. The duo have interviewed legends ~ Elizabeth Stanley, Leslie
Rodriguez Kritzer, Bonnie Milligan, BD Wong, and Ryan Reynolds.

Jackson has graced the stages of Radio City Music Hall and Carnegie Hall. Stage
credits: The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Whistle
Down The Wind (National Tour), Dreamgirls (DASH Award), The Wild Party (SpeakEasy
Stage), Henri Gabler (Exigent Theatre Co). Directing credits include Gypsy (College
Light Opera Company). As an arts educator, he has worked with students at
Manhattanville University, University of South Florida (Tampa & Sarasota), Open Jar
Institute, and Westfield State University, where he was recently named 2024 Alumni of
the Year. James’ work has been seen at Williamstown Theatre Festival, The American
Repertory Theatre’s Club Oberon in Cambridge, and Los Angeles’ Lyric Theatre. Check

Sam Sultan - Vocal Technique | Music Director, Junior Co.
Sam Sultan (he/they) is a Jersey City-based theatre-creator, performer, and teaching artist, with a passion for helping young artists find their creative voices and their community.
Sam's first full length musical, Saint Stephen & the Children's Crusade, was selected to take part in the Apples & Oranges THEatre Accelerator and was featured in Allen and Gray's digital New Voices Concert series. Sam composed music for Happily: The Musical, which has had multiple productions in NYC and around the country.
Some favorite credits as a musician and music specialist accompanying Laura Bell Bundy’s workshops, playing guitar for Bobby Cronin at Birdland and The Green Room and serving as music assistant for Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson for the Double Standards concert at Town Hall.
Some favorite credits as an actor include Once at the Public Theatre San Antonio, The Hunchback of Notre Dame at the White Plains Performing arts center, and Big River at Westchester Broadway Theater.
Sam is a proud member of AEA, DGA and the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop.
Mark Ceppetelli - Music Director, Broadway Co.
Mark Ceppetelli is a theatre music director, pianist, music educator, composer, and arranger, based in New York. He started his music career as a composition student at the Hartt School of Music, Dance, and Theatre of the University of Hartford. He has worked as music director since 2015, with venues ranging from community and educational theatres through professional regional theatres. As a pianist, he collaborated with Hartford Opera Theater in their “New In November” annual performance, championing new operas. As a composer, he has written incidental music for plays, electronic music in collaboration with dancers, and premiered numerous chamber pieces.
As a pianist at Hartt, he studied with Margreet Francis. His composition teachers included Robert Carl, Kenneth Steen, David Macbride, Larry Alan Smith, and Kyle Wernke. He has taken conducting masterclasses with Joseph Church, and a musical theatre engraving masterclass with Emily Grishman.
Mark teaches all levels of piano, beginner and intermediate levels of guitar and ukulele, and offers vocal coaching to musical theatre performers. Feel free to contact him with inquiries about music direction, lessons, coaching, arranging, engraving, and accompanist services!
Meghan LaFlam - Music Director/Vocal Coach
​Meghan LaFlam is so thrilled to be returning to Skyline! Meghan is an actor, singer, musician and vocal coach. She graduated from The Boston Conservatory with a BFA in musical theater, emphasis in vocal repertory. She has performed professionally in musicals all over the country, as well as in concerts at The Boston Symphony Orchestra, before switching career gears into the music industry to release and record her own original music.
